The parking lot where many of the employees park in Newark (EWR), is always a challenge whenever mother nature decides to dump snow on it. Of course, the snowplow drivers are nice enough to block ALL the cars in, so after 15 hours of flying, many crew members come back to find an hour or so of shoveling snow on their "to do" list. NOW you know why I like living in Florida so much!!!! Haven't so much as scraped ice ONCE in the last six years of living there!

SEAGULL REFLECTION

As the whole nation deals with massive snowstorms, we folks down here in sunny Florida are enjoying 80 degree (27 Celsius) weather. It's been absolutely gorgeous down here. Here's a shot I took of a seagull today who was also out enjoying the weather. How can you not enjoy a beautiful day like this, especially with photo opportunities like this?

COOOOOOLD WEATHER IN THE USA!!!!

While flying back to Newark(EWR), from Vail, Colorado (EGE), I snapped this photo at 41,000 feet near Omaha, Nebraska (OMA). We literally didn't see ANY real estate that we flew over that wasn't covered with snow for the ENTIRE three and a half hour flight. I don't think I've ever seen this much snow cover in the USA! One good thing though, is that I live in a WARM state! FLORIDA!!!!!

MORE USA TODAY PHOTOS

I was contacted by the USA Today newspaper yesterday telling me they wanted to publish two more of my photos! They used FOUR of my photos in the November/December papers last year, so that means they will have used SIX of my shots in the last two and a half months! Wow......what a great feeling! Just look for my name next to the weather photos on the last page of section one. Hope you like them.
