Here's a shot that makes me a bit sad..................parking airplanes that have come to the end of their service life for Continental. We flew a plane to Winston Salem, NC, last week for maintenance, and this was the sight that greeted us. These B737-500's have been at CAL for the past 30 years or so, and now it's time to retire them. One day I'd love to get a few of these planes, gut them, and make homes out of them................ Ahhhh, retirement ideas abound!!!!
