HEADS I WIN, TAILS YOU LOSE

Here's a funny shot I took at the San Diego Zoo a few months back. It always reminds me of the saying, "I don't know whether I'm coming or going!"..........in this case they were going...........to eat! Funny how a camera can leave out "the rest of the story". Enjoy!

COOOOOOLD WEATHER IN THE USA!!!!

While flying back to Newark(EWR), from Vail, Colorado (EGE), I snapped this photo at 41,000 feet near Omaha, Nebraska (OMA). We literally didn't see ANY real estate that we flew over that wasn't covered with snow for the ENTIRE three and a half hour flight. I don't think I've ever seen this much snow cover in the USA! One good thing though, is that I live in a WARM state! FLORIDA!!!!!

MORE USA TODAY PHOTOS

I was contacted by the USA Today newspaper yesterday telling me they wanted to publish two more of my photos! They used FOUR of my photos in the November/December papers last year, so that means they will have used SIX of my shots in the last two and a half months! Wow......what a great feeling! Just look for my name next to the weather photos on the last page of section one. Hope you like them.

BEACH SHADOWS

During my return to Hollywood, FL, the other day (FLL), I noticed a neat shot when we were flying downwind (an airplane term for one of the legs in a traffic pattern), for landing in Ft. Lauderdale. The shadows of the hotels on the beach made for an interesting picture. Luckily my camera spooled up quickly so I could get this shot. Pretty neat, eh?

SAD SIGHT...NEW BEGINNING

Well, home for a day and a half, so here's a quick update with a shot I took in Newark the other day. I was hoping to get two Continental planes in the photo, but the B-757 in the background turned out to be a Continental plane with the UAL name on the side. Still a nice photo (at least I think it is...LOL). So, with 2010 coming to a close and 2011 here, I guess we'll have to get used to seeing our "old" planes with our "new" name on them. Happy New Year everyone!
